ONTRAM at tekom
The ONTRAM team was present at the annual tekom convention in Stuttgart, October 24-26. Many well-known companies visited our stand, specifically to find out about ONTRAM. Surrounded by familiar names like Interverbum and Acrolinx, we had countless in-depth and interesting conversations. After preliminary discussions, we met face-to-face with two representatives of our new partner, Systran.
The feedback from the well-attended ONTRAM tool presentation on Wednesday morning was positive and motivating and followed by exciting discussions at the stand. All in all, those were intense days that left us with aching backs and feet, sore jaws from talking up a storm, and heads whirling from positive feedback and food for thought. It was a lot of fun!
Our ONTRAM presentation at the SEROM
SEROM, a small conference for software developers in Vechta, also took place in October. There, our technical project coordinator Sven Steuer presented on "Developments and Effects of Neural Translation Technology". He focused on the quality of machine translations, as well as the possible cost savings of this technology.
Exciting discussions and active exchanges followed his presentation. We made many new contacts and gained new insights.
